Shared Leadership Council SBAR: Bedside Supply Waste

SBAR is how nurses communicate urgent information quickly to each other (Situation, Background, Assessment or Analysis, Recommendation). This SBAR describes the situation of the supply waste problem at Stanford, how we identified it, what we plan to do and why.
I presented in this format to the Shared Leadership Council, reaching nurse leaders throughout the institution. I am recognized often at work by strangers as "The supply waste girl!" and then they toss their trash into the correct bin in front of me thereafter. Big Sustainability Energy radiating from the Float Pool, and we love to see it!
